I am Josefina Vergara, but everyone knows me as Pope. I am a Chilean knitwear designer, wife, and mother of two. My husband and children are a big part of my story and the reason I continue building this creative path with passion. I started knitting during my first pregnancy, when I had to stay on bed rest. What began as a quiet moment quickly became a lifelong passion. Since then, I have never stopped knitting. I love exploring new materials, beads, textures, and techniques, always looking for new ways to innovate and challenge the usual. My inspiration comes from nature, music, science, and most of all, from emotions. Through my designs, I try to express what words sometimes cannot. My goal is simple: I want people to feel good, feel confident, and shine through what they wear.
